What is EOS?
It’s a simple business methodology proven to deliver results.
A Comprehensive Business System
EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System®, integrates a holistic business model with a proven business process and simple business tools to align and synchronize all the elements of your business.
What makes the Entrepreneurial Operating System® so effective is the fact that it is simple and comprehensive. Watch the founder of EOS® explain his concept in this short video.
The EOS Model
A visual illustration of the Six Key Components of any business that must be managed and strengthened to be a great business.
Strengthening this component means getting everyone in the organization 100% on the same page with where you’re going and how you’re going to get there.
Simply put, we can’t do it without great people. This means surrounding yourself with great people, top to bottom, because you can’t achieve a great vision without great people.
Data means cutting through all the feelings, personalities, opinions and egos and boiling your organization down to a handful of objective numbers that give you an absolute pulse on where things are.
Strengthening this component means becoming great at solving problems throughout the organization – setting them up, knocking them down and making them go away forever.
This is the secret ingredient in your organization. Process means “systemizing” your business by identifying and documenting the core processes that make your business run.
The glue of EOS®, and our namesake, Traction® means bringing discipline and accountability into the organization – becoming great at execution – taking the vision down to the ground and making it real.

The EOS® Process
A proven way to incorporate each of the EOS Tools in the right order to best strengthen each key component of your business.
1. 90 Minute Meeting
This meeting introduces the leadership team of a company to EOS®, getting everyone on the same page so they can decide if they want to use the system and tools to strengthen their company.
2. The Focus Day
A day to give the leadership team tools to clarify who’s responsible for what, set priorities, resolve issues and track critical numbers. The team then uses these tools in their business for the next 30 days to experience real improvement.
3. Vision Building Day 1
The second full day with the leadership team to sharpen the Focus Day tools and begin using the Vision / Traction Organizer (V/TO) tool to clarify their vision: who they are, why they exist, what they do and where they are going. They will also learn a great tool for reviewing their people.
4. Vision Building Day 2
Another day with the leadership team to master the Focus Day tools and continue using the V/TO tool to complete their vision: clarifying their Marketing Strategy, 3-Year Picture, 1-Year Plan and priorities for the next 90 days.
5. Quarterly Sessions
A day with the leadership team every 90 days to evaluate their performance, refocus, set priorities for the next 90 days and resolve any issues that might impede their progress.
6. Annual Sessions
2 Days with the leadership team each year to build team health and update their vision and plan for the next year. The result is a healthy leadership team focused on achieving every part of their vision.
